A steamy session

the Antidote to... traditional yoga

There’s no denying that I felt initial apprehension at the thought of doing yoga in 37 degree heat, but its feel-good factor has long been raved about. Hot Pod, which practices Vinyasa flow yoga in a futuristic ribbed inflatable is popping up (literally) all over the place. Upon stepping into the pod I was immediately surprised at how mild the temperature was, oh the naivety! It was just getting started… The yoga itself was brilliant, our engaging and positive instructor Dionne encouraged complete focus to the point of forgetting all about the heat, despite sweating from places I didn’t even know were possible (ankle, calf?). The session finished with uber-relaxing classical music.

Fully acclimatised and frankly quite happy in that little pod, I could have laid there for ages. Book yourself into Hot Pod Yoga here
