the Antidote to... over-sugary juices

The Antidote does juicing…

Plenish

The Pineapple is totally delicious and full of Vitamin A, which is number 1 for healthy, glowing, clear skin. Spicy Lemonade sure is spicy, gives you the afternoon kick you need minus the gallons of caffeine but you have been warned, it has some serious bite. We were not so keen on the pond water green, which tasted very broccoli heavy (and literally like pond water).

£13.50 for 500ml

Imbibery

Loved all of these, especially the Cashew Milk as its luxurious, nourishing texture is comparable to a full-fat Lucky 7 milkshake. The Pineapple came out on top once again: its exotic flavour is just like summer in a bottle. Chic packaging and feels ‘expensive’ – would definitely spend money on these.

£12 for 500ml

Blend + Press

These cost a pretty penny but were the best-looking and most fabulous-tasting of the bunch. The juices were brilliant, smoothies delicious generally but a bit thick for a bottle. Perfect marriage of health drink and treat. Two favourites were the lovely alkalising watermelon as a replacement for greens and the clean and serene cacao/banana energising shake.

£9 for 500ml

Rhythm kefir

Don’t be put off by the slightly babyfood appearance of the packaging – these coconut kefir drinks are packed full of goodness. The coconut kefir contains acidophillus which promotes a healthy gut and helps balance the flora and fauna within us. Whilst we had conflicting views on the green and beetroot juices, we were unanimous in our love for the minis, Coconut & Passionfruit and Coconut & Mango.
