Thanks to its relaxing qualities, lavender has been used in beauty products for yonks, and is a popular choice for bath oils and body washes. To help you sleep, you can also add 5 drops of lavender essential oil to the bath before bed (don’t add oils to running water as they are very volatile and will disappear into the steam rather than the water). Soak for 20 minutes.
But it’s also important to remember that not all lavender is made the same: choose high-altitude lavender oil made in France for a certain je ne sais quoi.
